Kabuki 歌舞伎

Kabuki is Japanese traditional popular dance-drama. You can rent “Earphone-Guide” which provide translation of dialogue and lyrics. It might be helpful for you to understand Kabuki.














Sumo 相撲

Sumo is also Japanese traditional sport. It began long time ago and developed into its present form in the Edo period. (1603-1868) Two people(wrestlers) who are wearing a mawashi (loincloth), face each other in a dohyo (circular ring) and push, grapple, and try to throw each other.




















Tokyo Tower 東京タワー

Tokyo tower was built about 60 years ago as a broadcasting tower, and it is a symbol of Tokyo.
Tokyo tower has become spare in case of emergency since Tokyo Sky Tree was built.
